Job Description : Business Development Manager
Job Location : Delhi
Nature of work : Business Development
Requirements
· A result-oriented professional with 8+ years of experience in the field of Primary (Offline)Market Research, as well as doing BD for MR/Consumer Insights. Should have worked on the Agency side or at the client Side.
· Should have a proven track record of being able to effectively sell and convert/develop new clients to doing MR based projects through his/her agency. Ideally, should have lead the BD efforts for the MR vertical.
· Should have a good understanding of basic research terms and concepts, as well as execution level issues so that he can convince any new client effectively to buy or do the research.
Responsibilities
· Ensure that the appropriate level of service and support is provided to maximize client retention and contract renewals.
· Continually innovate, develop, and suggest enhancements such as new methods of analysis or service techniques, to always be - one step ahead- of our competitors
· Strategic account planning and forecasting of accounts and assessing new business opportunities. Including leading Initiatives for Marketing Activities towards MX brand building
· Ensuring effective management of third-party relationships
· Overseeing the conduct of analytics through the integration of complex datasets around assessments, segmentation, targeting strategies, hypothesis testing, pilot experiment design and predictive analytics
· Accountable for having a strategic view of the client’s business and developing, building and maintaining strong relationships in client organizations.
· Develop actionable conclusions from studies and effectively communicate them to board level audiences.
· Manage and Achieve Topline and Margins as per targets(Mumbai and Delhi)
· Identify new areas for Innovation to explore based on awareness of key behavioral, cultural, and societal shifts
Job Skills
· Thorough understanding of markets, research methodologies and techniques
· Good organizer with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
· Expertise in analytical skills and the ability to interpret research data accurately
· Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
· Excellent sales/negotiation skills and a hunger to develop new business
· Well-developed interpersonal skills for internal and external client
· Ability to facilitate workshop sessions around the insights, personas, journey maps, etc
· Ability to effectively communicate complex and controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience
· High comfort level in working and navigating a dynamic work environment
