ResponsibilitiesProcess payroll for the employeesMaintain accurate and updated records of all payroll transactionsResolve payroll issues promptly and efficiently, co-ordinate with relevant departmentsEnsure compliance with all payroll-related laws and regulations, including taxes and benefitsPrepare and file all payroll-related tax returns and reportsPerform regular audits and reviews of payroll data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and totalityCommunicate with employees about payroll-related concerns/ queriesWork with HR and other departments to ensure that any personnel changes are processed promptlyProvide support for various payroll projects and initiativesAssist with the preparation and reconciliation of payroll accounts

QualificationsGraduate - Preferably B.Com

Required SkillsStrong attention to detail and accuracy in data processing5-6 years of experience in payroll administration or a related fieldExcellent organizational skillsFamiliarity with

payroll software

and databasesStrong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and best practicesEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to discreetly handle confidential informationAbility to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentProblem-solving skills and the ability to resolve payroll-related issuesExperience with payroll processing for a large and diverse workforceAbility to work well in a teamAbility to communicate with employees by using strong interpersonal skills
