Role Overview
We are seeking a Business & Technology Consulting Lead to spearhead and shape a brand-new consulting function at Millipixels. As the first hire in this area, you will be responsible for defining the strategic direction, leading engagements with clients, and driving growth in our offerings—particularly in Cloud Computing and Enterprise Product Implementations, Digital Transformation and Staff Augmentation at the top tier. This role offers a unique opportunity to have a direct and lasting impact on the evolution of our company. You’ll work closely with senior leadership, leverage our multidisciplinary teams, and serve as a trusted advisor to our clients worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Consulting Practice Formation
• Develop a business and technology consulting strategy aligned with Millipixels’ long-term goals.
• Define service offerings, frameworks, and methodologies for client engagements.
• Build and manage a high-performing consulting team as the business scales.
Client Engagement & Business Development
• Act as the primary advisor for clients, understanding their technology landscape and proposing solutions in areas such as Cloud Computing, Enterprise implementations, and Digital Transformation.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, pitch Millipixels’ capabilities to prospective clients, and drive revenue growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, development, project management) to develop tailored client solutions and proposals.
Thought Leadership & Innovation
• Stay ahead of emerging industry trends, market shifts, and competitive landscapes to refine and expand our consulting offerings.
• Represent MilliPixels at conferences, workshops, webinars, and other public forums to showcase our expertise and build our brand.
• Develop whitepapers, blog posts, and presentations to establish MilliPixels as a leader in cutting-edge technologies.
Delivery Oversight & Execution
• Oversee the successful execution of client engagements, ensuring top-notch delivery quality and client satisfaction.
• Establish clear metrics for project performance, and ensure that teams are equipped to meet or exceed client expectations.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and innovation within the consulting team and beyond.
Leadership & Collaboration
• Work closely with the executive team to align consulting objectives with organizational goals.
• Mentor and guide junior consultants, promoting a culture of excellence, creativity, and client-centricity.
• Collaborate with our design, engineering, and marketing teams to create integrated, value-driven solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
• Education & Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Technology, or related fields. MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
• Experience: 10+ years of overall professional experience with a strong background in business consulting, technology consulting, or a blend of both.
• Technology Expertise: Proven track record in Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and/or Enterprise Product Implementations (ERP, CRM, or other enterprise solutions).
• Business Acumen: Demonstrated ability to understand complex client needs and translate them into innovative, scalable solutions.
• Leadership & Team Management: Experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
• Communication & Presentation: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently present to C-level executives.
• Travel Readiness: Willingness and ability to travel extensively to meet clients, attend conferences, and engage with stakeholders.
