Role Description
: As an Agile Product Owner at Incedo’ s product engineering team for our strategic client, you will play a critical role in driving the development and delivery of our SaaS-based DDoS threat intelligence and control product line. This is an excellent opportunity to help shape an emerging SaaS platform for DDoS intelligence for comprehensive DDoS protection, a new necessity in cyber security realm.
Responsibilities:Product Strategy: Define and communicate the vision, goals, and roadmap for SaaS-based threat intelligence and control products.Backlog Management: Maintain a prioritized product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.User Stories: Create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications for engineering teams.Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to gather requirements, validate features, and address feedback.Agile Practices: Apply Agile methodologies to drive product development efficiently.Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in threat intelligence.Risk Assessment: Evaluate risks associated with threat intelligence solutions and propose mitigation strategies.Product Delivery: Integrated within the Agile teams, work closely with the engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality product releases.Continuous Improvement: Continuously refine and optimize threat intelligence and control mechanisms based on feedback and performance metrics.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Cybersecurity, etc.)Master’s degree in business administration is preferred.Experience: 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in the cybersecurity domain. Agile Expertise: Proficiency in Agile practices and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira).Technical Knowledge: Understanding of DDoS, threat intelligence concepts, security operations, and relevant technologies. Network security product experience is a big plus.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex problems, make data-driven decisions, and adapt to changing requirements.Certifications (Preferred): Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or related certifications.
