**Product Owner - Pune, India**

Then it’s time to join Western Union’s Retail Product team as Product Owner.

In this role you will join the Global Retail Product team and act as a Product Owner for a highly motivated and delivery-focused scrum team. You will focus on run-the-business initiatives for best-in-class Western Union retail solutions, while aiming to provide the best agent and customer experience at every step.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Lead in-house teams and act as a Product Owner in agile process for run-the-business team.
- Define and prioritize user stories, plan sprints, groom backlog, participate in daily scrum ceremonies.
- Provide product guidance to development and testing teams through the delivery lifecycle and assist to resolve roadblocks.
- Communicate with stakeholders and users on requirement refinement.
- Have flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and be able to communicate to scrum team.
- Direct people management is not required, however as a Product Owner you will need to provide leadership and direction to cross functional team.
- Collaborate with Product Manager, Agile Project Manager, UI/UX and Content teams, and Engineering leads on new work intake and planning future team roadmap.
- Provide ongoing analysis on product effectiveness using a data driven approach.

**Role Requirements**
- 8+ Years of experience in total and minimum 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner in Financial Services, preferably payments.
- Technical or IT background, experience in working with web development, POS or payments.
- Additional testing experience preferable. PO/PM certificate or equivalent relevant experience preferable.
- Understanding of Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban), experience with SAFE framework preferable. Experience working with JIRA, Confluence.
- Ability to lead larger remote cross functional teams up to 10 people and clearly communicate direction, goals are desired results.
- Get things done attitude; with self-motivated, with the ability to “roll-up sleeves” and prioritize critical deadlines.
- Ability to break down complex experiences into simple documents, stories, and flows.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders/teams in different countries with different cultural backgrounds.
- Good written and verbal English.
