What are we looking for:

Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Media & Content Strategy Lead to

spearhead our social media and content initiatives at IZI. This role involves not only managing and

leading the current team but also collaborating closely with the digital marketing team to enhance our

SEO efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and leadership

skills.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Social Media Management:

● Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to drive brand awareness,

engagement, and growth across various platforms.

● Oversee the day-to-day management of social media accounts, including content scheduling,

community engagement, and performance monitoring.

● Stay updated with social media trends and platform updates to ensure IZI’s strategies remain

innovative and effective.

2. Content Creation & Strategy:

● Lead the creation and implementation of content strategies that align with IZI’s brand voice and

business objectives.

● Oversee the production of high-quality content, including written posts, graphics, videos, and

photography.

● Collaborate with internal teams and external freelancers to ensure content is engaging, relevant,

and optimized for target audiences.

3. Team Leadership:

● Manage and mentor the social media and content team, providing guidance, support, and

professional development.

● Foster a collaborative and creative work environment to achieve team goals and objectives.

4. Public Relations:

● Handle PR activities, including crafting press releases, managing media relations, and

coordinating events.

● Develop strategies to enhance IZI’s public image and manage crisis communications as needed.

5. Digital Marketing & SEO Support:

● Work closely with the digital marketing team to align content strategies with SEO objectives.

● Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing content to improve search engine rankings

and drive organic traffic.

6. Performance Analysis:

● Monitor, analyze, and report on social media and content performance using analytics tools.

● Use data-driven insights to refine strategies, optimize campaigns, and achieve measurable

results.


Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

● Proven experience in social media management, content creation, and public relations.

● Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and mentoring teams.

● Proficiency in social media platforms, content management systems, and analytics tools.

● Experience with SEO best practices and digital marketing strategies.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
