The Engineering Challenge
“Re-imaging credit and payments from First Principles”
Payments is an interesting engineering challenge in itself with requirements of low
latency, transactional guarantees, security, and high scalability. When we add credit and
engagement into the mix, the challenge becomes even more interesting with underwriting
and recommendation algorithms working on large data sets. We have eliminated the
current call center, sales agent, and SMS-based processes with a mobile app that puts the
customers in complete control. To stay agile, the entire stack is built on the cloud with
modern technologies.

Role: Team Lead (UPI Transaction)
Role Category : Financial Crime Prevention
Job Location: West Bay HQ5X+786, Shambhu Vihar Society, Pallod Farms II, Nankude
Vasti, Aundh, Pune, Maharashtra 411045.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and oversee the team to ensure smooth operations of the allocated UPI
transaction process.
2. Analyze UPI transaction alerts reviewed by analysts, verify the actions taken, and
provide adequate guidance to ensure alignment with existing policies and SOPs.
3. Prepare daily MIS reports, productivity charts, and other necessary reports to be
shared with the Head of Department (HOD).
4. Quickly analyze transaction patterns and respond to high-risk situations.
5. Detect, investigate, and highlight irregular transaction patterns identified as
suspected fraud.
6. Build and maintain professional relationships with NPCI, PSP stakeholders, and
counterparts in other UPI aggregators.
7. Suggest best practices to the reporting manager and the HOD to enhance
throughput, improve processes, and meet regulatory requirements.
8. Resolve customer issues efficiently, effectively, and empathetically.
9. Stay informed about the company trends and advancement in the respective
domain and come up with relevant insights to enhance current operations.
10.Report and escalate critical issues to senior management in a timely manner,
providing detailed analysis and recommendations for resolutions.
Technical & Professional skills
1. - Graduate in any domain.
2. - Experience 5-10 Years.
3. - Excellent writing, interpersonal and communication skills.
4. - Proficient in Ms Excel, PowerPoint & Word.
5. - Knowledge of Falcon/Hunter/SQL/Python will be an added advantage.
6. Active listening and an eye for details to determine the root cause of the issue.
7. Display Ownership and Accountability.
8. Curious learner who takes initiative and is adaptable to changing business needs.
