Job Overview


Solutions Engineer is expected to work with new and existing Gainsight customers to provide onboarding, integration, education and documentation for long-term customer success with Gainsight.

Job Location : Hyderabad

Ideal years of experience : 2-6 years

Standard work hours : EMEA Timezone (3pm - 11pm IST) or PT Timezone (6PM - 3 AM IST). We are looking for a resource to support in the US Pacific timezone.


Qualifications
Hands-on 2-6 years of recent Professional Services/Enterprise product implementation or related experience is required, SaaS experience is preferred. Solid technical skills and aptitude are required - CRM, databases, data integration processes, Salesforce.com, Snowflake and various SaaS platforms are considered relevant. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server). Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus. Skill set to understand and document business requirements as well provide prescriptive recommendations by actively listening and asking probing questions. Comfortable working on 5-10 unique customer projects at one time. Passion to be an expert on the product and for being part of a fast growing company. Familiarity with data modeling, data migration, and performance optimization. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and internal teams. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. Strong communication, presentation, consultative and leadership skills. Record of professional achievements with a track record of delighted, successful, and satisfied customers.
Responsibilities

Partner with our clients to deliver predictable outcomes and experiences for their clients and predictable growth for their business by:

Understand Gainsight products, their features, functions and recognize how they can be used to solve problems and create solutions for your customers. Responsible for nurturing existing Gainsight customers to increase adoption and expansion via technical strategy. Work in tandem with the Customer Success team and drive technical initiatives to achieve customer outcomes. Conduct requirement gathering sessions in order to interpret and deeply understand business requirements while documenting those details in a thorough and interpretable fashion. Configure the Gainsight platform per the desired specifications and conduct enablement sessions to the customer’s Gainsight Admin. Proactively Identify and escalate potential issues/risks and partner with both internal & external stakeholders for mitigation/resolution. Participate in establishing best practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature capabilities of the team. Forecast, track and report project hours and achieve your utilization target.
