Role Description:
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Territory Sales Manager. The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for managing sales activities in the Gujarat Territory (Ahmedabad, Vadodara etc.). This includes identifying potential clients, conducting market insights, delivering sales presentations, negotiating contracts, and maintaining strong relationships with existing Pharma and Biopharma customers. The Territory Sales Manager will also collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies. This role is based in Gujarat with flexibility for some remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets for Chromatography and Preparative HPLC instruments and purification technology.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers in the Pharma and Biopharma industries in Gujarat.
Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the assigned region.
Conduct market insights to understand customer needs and industry trends.
Deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to meet and exceed sales targets.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Lead and mentor a sales team, fostering a positive and high-performance culture.
Conduct seminars, training sessions, and presentations to large groups, showcasing the technical capabilities and benefits of our products.
Prepare and deliver regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
Essential Requirements:
Technical Sales Experience : Proven experience in technical sales, specifically with Chromatography, Preparative HPLC instruments, and purification technology.
Customer Base : Established network and strong customer relationships within the Pharma and BioPharma industries in the West India region (Gujarat).
Sales Achievement : Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Educational Background: Master’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field with a technical background in chemistry.
Leadership Experience : Extensive experience in leading and managing a sales team with a proven track record of success.
Positive Attitude : A proactive and motivated approach with a “can do” attitude, being a team player and contributing positively to the company culture.
Presentation Skills : Excellent presentation skills with the ability to present clearly to large groups, including conducting seminars and training sessions.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience working in cross-functional teams and matrices.
Hands-on experience in Chromatography using HPLC.
