Job Overview

The Territory Manager - Agricultural Sales is responsible for managing and growing sales in a specific geographic territory. They will be responsible for selling agricultural products and services, such as seeds, fertilizers, and equipment. This role requires a deep understanding of the agricultural industry, strong sales skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with farmers and agricultural businesses. The Territory Manager will also be responsible for achieving sales targets, conducting market research, and providing feedback to management.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or a related field1-3 years of experience in agricultural sales or a similar roleStrong knowledge of the agricultural industry and farming practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven track record of achieving sales targetsAbility to build and maintain relationships with customersSelf-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamGood analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in MS Office and CRM softwareValid driver's license

Roles and Responsibilities

Manage and grow sales in the assigned territoryDevelop and maintain relationships with farmers and agricultural businessesIdentify and pursue new sales opportunitiesConduct market research to identify customer needs and preferencesProvide product knowledge and technical support to farmersMaintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactionsAchieve sales targets and meet performance metricsCollaborate with the marketing team to develop sales strategiesAttend industry events and conferences to network and promote the companyProvide feedback to management on market trends, customer needs, and competition
