Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sr. Manager- Logistics at Earth Rhythm in Gurugram. The Sr. Manager- Logistics will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day logistics operations, managing inventory, supply chain, procurement, and ensuring efficient logistics management to support the company's mission of promoting healthy skin and environmental sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics Strategy & Operations
- Develop and implement end-to-end logistics strategies to ensure efficient product delivery.
- Oversee the entire order fulfillment process, including warehousing, inventory management, and last-mile delivery.
Vendor & Partner Management
- Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with logistics service providers, including 3PLs, carriers, and warehouse partners.
- Evaluate vendor performance and ensure adherence to SLAs and quality standards.
Inventory & Warehousing
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure stock availability while minimizing holding costs.
- Implement best practices for warehouse operations to maximize space utilization and efficiency.
Cost & Performance Optimization
- Analyze logistics costs and identify areas for improvement to reduce expenses.
- Track key performance metrics (KPIs) such as delivery times, order accuracy, and cost per shipment.
Technology & Process Improvement
- Leverage logistics management software (LMS) and ERP systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Continuously review and improve processes to support scalability and growth.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and environmental standards related to logistics operations.
- Develop risk mitigation plans to address potential disruptions in the supply chain.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of logistics and warehouse staff.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. MBA is a plus.
- Experience: 10+ years in logistics, supply chain, or operations, preferably in a D2C or e-commerce environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in logistics management software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
