Aquis Search is currently assisting our client, a prestigious asset manager in their search for a Head of Alternatives Sales for the South India region. This role can be hired either in Bangalore or Hyderabad.

We're looking for a dynamic Sales professional who will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for the south region. The role involves managing key client relationships and driving growth in assets under management (AUM) within the assigned region. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the asset management industry, a proven track record in sales leadership, and strong regional market knowledge.

Job Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution:Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the said regions to achieve AUM targets.Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including expansion into new markets within the regionMonitor market trends, competitive landscape, and client needs to adjust sales strategies accordingly

Client Relationship Management:Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including institutional investors, financial advisors, and high-net-worth individualsEnsure high levels of client satisfaction through regular engagement and delivering value-added services

Revenue Growth & AUM Expansion:Drive revenue growth by increasing sales of the company’s asset management products and servicesFocus on increasing AUM through strategic initiatives, including new client acquisition and cross-selling to existing clients

Reporting & Analysis:Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for senior managementUse data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as needed

Compliance & Risk Management:Ensure all sales activities are compliant with regulatory requirements and company policiesWork with the compliance team to stay updated on regulatory changes that may impact sales processes or client relationships

Academic Qualification and Experience:MBA / CA / CFA10-15 years of experience in Asset Management or Financial Services Industry

Knowledge, Competency and Skills requirement:Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in the regional roleStrong leadership ad team management skillsDeep understanding of financial products, investment strategies, and asset management industryExcellent in Communication, Negotiation and Interpersonal skillsStrategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skillAbility to build and maintain strong client relationshipsKnowledge of regional market
