Job SummaryThe Planning Lead will oversee all project planning, scheduling, and resource management activities within existing under construction projects, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and defined budget. This role involves creating strategic schedules, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements. The Planning Lead will play a critical role in supporting the company’s objectives by delivering efficient project plans and managing risks effectively.
Qualifications•
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.•
Experience:
Minimum of
15+ years
in project planning within the Indian construction industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.•
Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP)
certification, or a similar project management certification, is preferred.
Skills and Competencies• Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in scheduling and planning. Knowledge of Indian construction regulations. Exposure and usage of software tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) would be an added advantage, not mandatory.• Analytical Skills:
Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data analysis and data-driven decision-making.• Leadership Abilities:
Proven experience in managing and motivating teams, with strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.• Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.• Time Management:
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)• Schedule adherence and timely completion of projects• Budget accuracy and resource allocation efficiency• Stakeholder and client satisfaction levels• Effective identification and mitigation of project risks• Improvements in planning processes and team performance
Working Conditions• Primarily office-based with regular site visits across Mumbai as required.• Occasional extended hours to meet project deadlines, with travel to project sites.
