Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager – Sales & Operations to lead our travel business. The ideal candidate will have deep industry knowledge, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record in both revenue generation and operational excellence. You will be responsible for driving business growth, managing key client relationships, optimizing travel operations, and leading a cross-functional team across sales, customer service, and fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.Identify new market opportunities and develop B2B/B2C partnerships.Build and manage relationships with key accounts, suppliers, and channel partners.Monitor sales pipelines and conversion ratios to improve overall performance.

Operations Management:

Oversee end-to-end travel operations, including booking, customer service, vendor management, and fulfillment.Ensure operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and compliance with travel regulations.Implement SOPs and quality control measures for consistent service delivery.

Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and mentor sales and operations teams.Set KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and foster a performance-driven culture.Lead cross-departmental collaboration to align operations with sales goals.

Strategy & P&L Responsibility:

Develop annual business plans, budgets, and forecasts.Analyze performance data, market trends, and customer feedback to inform decisions.Take ownership of profit & loss, driving margin improvements and cost efficiencies.

Technology & Innovation:

Lead adoption of travel technology platforms (GDS, CRM, booking engines).Leverage data and digital tools to enhance customer experience and productivity.
