Network Security - Job Description

  • Configured and maintained security policies, NAT policy, route addition, and security profiles.
  • Implemented all types of requests such as Service Request (SR), PCR, VPN PCR, and incidents (S1, S2, S3).
  • Implemented proxy-related requests such as proxy catalogue requests on FSM (Forcepoint Security Manager).
  • Handled daily troubleshooting calls and resolved user problems, mainly responsible for troubleshooting firewall and proxy issues.
  • Troubleshot issues using various tools (including packet capture, connection checks) and provided end-to-end solutions.
  • Used Web Content Gateway (WCG) for proxy troubleshooting by analyzing logs and proxy codes.
  • Performed T-shooting on proxy (including returning proxy nodes, auth bypass, SSL bypass) to provide full internet access to users.
  • Conducted different network activities such as firewall migration, failover, and OS upgradation.
  • Took TAC calls to resolve firewall/proxy issues.
  • Troubleshot RA VPN issues and used Cisco ISE to check user logs and posture status.
