Job Title: SOC L2 Analyst/Engineer
Location: Chennai
Experience: 4-7 Yrs
Role & responsibilities :
Monitor security alerts generated by various security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and others.
Conduct detailed analysis and investigation of security events to determine the scope, urgency, and potential impact of the incident.
Provide second-level support for security incidents, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
Collaborate with other SOC analysts, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of security incidents.
Create monthly reports and dashboard reports on the status of security events and incidents.
Mentor and train junior analysts to improve their skills and knowledge.
Tuning of rules, filters, and policies for detection-related security technologies to improve accuracy and visibility.
Participate in regular security training and knowledge-sharing sessions to stay up to date with the latest security threats and trends.
SOC and documents progress throughout the Incident Response Lifecycle.
Manage SLAs for security tickets or security incidents/events.
Jumping on the call with Vendors and other teams to discuss issues with partners/ to get their requirements and deliver the same in the form of projects.
Preferred candidate profile
Experience in advanced security analysis, incident response, and remediation activities that increases the efficiency of the SOC .
