We are looking for a passionate Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to help drive business decisions and uncover actionable insights. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support the organization in strategic initiatives and provide data-driven recommendations.


Primary Skills: Data Analysis & Interpretation, SQL Proficiency, Data Visualization, Statistical Analysis, Advanced Excel, Business Acumen, Data Quality & Cleaning, Data Tools & Platforms.


Secondary skills: Big Data Tools, Cloud Platforms, Scripting Languages, Machine Learning, ETL Processes, Data Governance & Security, Business Intelligence (BI) Tools, APIs & Data Integration,


Experience: 3 to 6 years of professional experience in development.

Must have skills:

  • Ability to analyze large datasets, identify patterns, trends, and insights, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Strong skills in writing complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
  • Expertise in using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms to create dashboards and reports that clearly communicate insights.
  • Strong foundation in statistical methods and data modeling, with the ability to perform hypothesis testing, correlation analysis, and predictive modeling using tools like R or Python.
  • Proficiency in Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting (using pivot tables, v-lookups, macros, etc.).
  • Ability to understand business objectives and translate them into meaningful data analysis to support decision-making.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address data quality issues, trends, and opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain technical analysis to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Expertise in cleaning, transforming, and validating data to ensure high-quality and accurate reporting.
  • Experience working with data warehouses, databases, and tools such as Google Analytics, CRM systems, or ERP systems.


Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or cloud-based data services (AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Azure Data Lake) for processing and analyzing large datasets.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and the ability to use cloud-based analytics and data storage solutions.
  • Ability to write scripts in Python, R, or similar languages for automation, data processing, and building predictive models.
  • Basic understanding of machine learning models and the ability to apply them to advanced predictive analytics problems.
  • Experience in building or optimizing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipelines to manage data ingestion and transformation efficiently.
  • Knowledge of data governance principles and ensuring data security, privacy, and compliance with regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
  • Additional experience with BI tools like Looker, Qlik, or similar platforms.
  • Experience in working with APIs to integrate and collect data from external sources.
  • Experience mentoring junior analysts and guiding them in best practices for data analysis.
  • Expertise in a specific industry (e.g., finance, healthcare, retail) that can help understand and contextualize data within business processes.


Roles and Responsibility

  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive strategic business decisions.
  • Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights to support business goals.
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) across various departments.
  • Perform ad hoc data analysis and present findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work closely with data engineers to optimize data pipelines and ensure the availability of accurate and clean data.
  • Develop and maintain predictive models to identify future trends and opportunities.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues, provide recommendations, and support process improvements.
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest data analysis trends and tools and apply them to improve business performance.
