ISO Standards Implementation
Responsible for the implementation of ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISO 22301, ISO 27017, ISO 27018 and ISO 20000 standards across the organization.
Responsible for developing and maintaining the Information Security Management System (ISMS) documentation, including policies, procedures, and controls.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with ISO 27001 requirements.
Participate in risk assessments and gap analyses to identify areas for improvement.
Client Information Security Audits
Coordinating client information security audits, including scheduling, documentation preparation, and facilitation of audit activities.
Address client inquiries and provide evidence of compliance with contractual security requirements.
Work with internal teams to address any identified issues or gaps and ensure timely resolution.
Internal Information Security Audits
Participate in internal information security audits to assess compliance with policies and standards.
Responsible for reviewing security controls and practices across various departments and business units.
Document audit findings, assist in identifying areas for improvement, and track remediation efforts.
Contribute to recommendations for enhancing the effectiveness of internal controls.
Certifications (SOC 2 Type 2, PCI DSS, etc.)
Responsible for the preparation and submission of certification applications and associated documentation.
Manage coordinating audit activities with external auditors to achieve SOC 2 Type 2, PCI DSS, or other certifications.
Ensure compliance with certification requirements and address any audit findings or non-conformities.
Participate in monitoring changes to certification standards and updating internal processes accordingly.
Regulatory Audits
Manage preparing for and participating in regulatory audits conducted by external agencies or authorities.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, such as GDPR, DPDP, PDPA, PCI, ISO, etc.
Collaborate with legal and regulatory affairs teams to address audit inquiries and provide required documentation.
Support the implementation of corrective actions based on audit findings and recommendations.
Artefact Collection, Review, and Management
Collect, review, and manage artefacts and documentation related to compliance activities, audits, and certifications.
Maintain a centralized repository of artefacts, ensuring proper organization, version control, and accessibility.
Assist in the creation of artefacts required for audits and certifications, such as policies, procedures, and evidence of compliance.
Support audit and certification teams by providing artefacts as needed during audit processes.
Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to facilitate compliance activities and promote awareness of requirements and expectations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance-related challenges and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide guidance and support to colleagues on compliance-related matters, contributing to a culture of information security awareness and accountability.
Team management
Manage a team of information security analysts
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
Certification in information security (e.g., CISA, CISM, CRISC) preferred.
10+ years of experience in managing compliance activities within a regulated environment.
Strong understanding of ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
In-depth knowledge of Internal & External Audits planning, execution, and reporting.
Proven experience in PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 controls and audits.
Hands-on knowledge & understanding of all Regulatory compliance in BFSI domain.
Experience working with auditors and a strong understanding of system risk and mitigating controls, segregation of duties.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
