Objectives of this Role

Represent our company’s products and services, starting with a comprehensive understanding and leading to consumer research to identify how our solutions meet needsGenerate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential sales outletsManage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage the sales team for next stepsIdentify best practices to refine the company’s lead generation playbook

Responsibilities

Generate sales opportunities through targeted outbound campaignsUse a strong researched backed, consultative approach in prospecting to develop high-quality sales-qualified leadsBuild long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunitiesProactively seek new business opportunities in the marketSet up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and the sales teamReport to sales development manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results

Required Skills and Qualifications

1 – 3 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree is preferredPrior experience in outbound B2B tech sales development / inside sales roles (experience in saas sales is preferred)Experience selling to large companies (1000+ employees) but the minimum should be 200+ employeesProven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skillsAbility to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentStrong desire and ability to move up within a sales organizationShould have the ability to talk to C-Suite executivesExceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence

Preferred QualificationsProficiency with CRM software and prospecting toolsPrior experience as a sales development rep with a track record of achieving sales quotas
