Job Overview:
The
Mobiliser
plays a critical role in identifying, motivating, and enrolling potential beneficiaries or candidates for training programs or community projects. The mobiliser acts as a bridge between the community and the organization, ensuring effective outreach, communication, and participation to achieve program targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Community Outreach & Candidate Mobilization
- Conduct field visits and surveys to identify eligible candidates for various skill development or community programs.
- Create awareness about program benefits, eligibility, and enrollment procedures through door-to-door visits, group meetings, or local events.
- Encourage participation and motivate candidates to join and complete the training or program.
2. Coordination & Liaison
- Coordinate with community leaders, local institutions, and other stakeholders to facilitate mobilization efforts.
- Liaise with trainers, placement teams, and program managers for smooth onboarding of candidates.
3. Data Collection & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of candidate details, outreach activities, and enrollment status.
- Submit daily/weekly mobilization reports to supervisors or project managers.
- Assist in updating MIS or project tracking systems as required.
4. Follow-up & Retention Support
- Follow up with enrolled candidates to ensure attendance, participation, and course completion.
- Address candidates' queries and challenges related to program participation.
- Support retention initiatives to minimize dropout rates.
5. Awareness & Campaign Support
- Assist in organizing awareness drives, enrollment camps, and community meetings.
- Distribute program literature and promotional materials effectively.
Qualifications & Experience:
Educational Qualification:
- Minimum 10+2 or equivalent. Graduation preferred but not mandatory.
Experience:
- 1–2 years of experience in community mobilization, outreach, or fieldwork in skill development or social projects is preferred.
Key Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport with community members and stakeholders.
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Self-motivated with a target-driven approach.
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned areas.
- Basic knowledge of local language and cultural sensitivities.
