Job Objective :Leading, managing and monitoring of sales from the identified partner Bank-branches covered within the region and implementing the regional Bancassurance distribution strategy in line with the overall Bancassurance distribution strategy. Build and sustain relationships with the regional level officials of the partner bank covered within the region.Job Description :Strategy Planning & ImplementationAssist the Regional Manager / Zonal Manager (ZM) in formulation and implementation of the regional distribution strategy for the Bancassurance channel as per the corporate guidelines.Support the ZM in the preparation of the sales forecast and estimation of sales target for the identified bank branches in the regionProvide specific targets to Team in line with the allocated territory targets and overall budget for the Bancassurance channel-RRB in the region in respect of all the Key Result Areas

undertaken for the financial yearEnsure that high net worth individuals and group business clients are provided with suitable insurance policies and efficient costumer service.Achievement of TargetResponsible for achievement of the Area sales target through monitoring of achievement of territory targets by Location Managerhe and their teams of Sr. Relationship Manager /Relationship Manager (RM)/Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM)/ Insurance Sales Officer (ISO)Responsible for achievement of targets in respect of the other Key Result Areas

as well as for implementation of the special projects

undertaken and their outcomes.Build and sustain relationships with channel partners (i.e. banks) - the Zonal Heads/ Regional Heads/ Principal Marketing Officers/Heads of Marketing/other Marketing Officials/ key Branch Managers.Review the effectiveness of the Area distribution strategy on a periodic basis and report the same to the ZM.Responsible for management of the manpower resources and enlisting support from the Regional Head as well as HR for maintaining requisite numbers at all times to prevent any business loss.

Track the progress on addition of new bank branches, on a monthly basis and report to the ZM.Identifying the gaps in mapping of ‘specified persons’ in the distributor’s branch clusters and converting as many bank officials to become specified persons with a goal of having “At least ONE Specified Person per Branch”;Sales Promotion & Product InterfaceProvide inputs on design of various sales promotion schemes as part of the regional distribution campaign to the National Account HeadsEnsure conduct of the regional distribution campaign/ sales promotion schemes within the allocated budgetEnsure smooth launch of new products in the region through conduct of promotional activitiesProvide inputs to the ZM and the National Account Heads on the performance of existing and new products as well as of competitor productsProvide inputs to the National Account Heads for customization of insurance products to the needs of the channel partnersMentoring / Coaching / Training for Distribution teamMentor and coach Location Heads to develop the team’s capabilities and build a strong succession pipeline for the roleProvide support for manpower planning and recruitment of Bancassurance team (Relationship Manager (RM)/Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM)/ Insurance Sales Officer (ISO)) for the region.Ensure that the Bancassurance team is trained on all product related aspects.Ensure compliance of the regional Bancassurance Distribution team with the regulatory norms as well as various corporate policies at all times.Coordinate with the Regional Sales training team and Territory Head & Location Heads to ensure that bank marketing personnel within the identified bank branches have a good understanding of the product featuresCoordinate with the Operations and Customer Services team in the Regional Office to ensure that Bancassurance team within the region are provided with all the necessary operational assistanceKey Deliverables :Achievement of TargetSales Promotion & Product InterfaceMentoring / Coaching / Training for Distribution teamStrategy Planning & Implementation
