Job Summary:About the Role:We’re looking for an experienced

Sr. Accounts Manager (CA)

to oversee all aspects of finance and accounts, including receivables/payables, GST compliance, trial balances, inventory management, foreign remittances, and financial reporting. This role requires a proactive leader who can collaborate across departments, drive efficiency, and ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities1. Accounts Receivables and Payables ManagementOversee and manage the accounts receivable and payable processes.Ensure timely collection of receivables and adherence to payment schedules.Conduct regular ledger scrutiny to identify and resolve discrepancies.Monitor and address outstanding balances to ensure adherence to agreed payment terms.2. Financial Reporting and CompliancePrepare and present financial reports in a timely and accurate manner.Maintain and review trial balances regularly.Oversee GST filings and ensure compliance with all applicable tax and regulatory frameworks.Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all financial documentation.3. Inventory and Foreign Remittance ManagementManage and account for inventory, specifically reefer and dry containers.Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of inventory levels.Supervise and handle foreign remittance processes in compliance with applicable regulations.4. Audit Coordination and Financial StrategyCoordinate internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to all accounting standards and regulations.Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis to enhance profitability and cost efficiency.5. Leadership and Cross-Departmental CollaborationLead and mentor the accounts team, fostering a culture of productivity and professional growth.Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning, decision-making, and budget allocation.Promote cross-functional cooperation to achieve organisational goals.

QualificationsChartered Accountant (CA) certification is mandatory.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.A minimum of 5–7 years of experience in accounting or finance, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.Proficient in accounting software (Tally is mandatory) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
