Role Summary
We are seeking a proactive and versatile HR Generalist to manage the full spectrum of HR functions, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, compliance, and HR administration. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a solid understanding of HR practices, and the ability to foster a positive workplace culture. As this role may involve interaction with US clients and stakeholders, excellent spoken and written English is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Oversee the end-to-end hiring process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviews, background checks, and smooth onboarding of new hires.
- Employee Relations: Address employee queries and grievances, manage conflict resolution, and promote a healthy workplace culture.
- Performance Management: Support performance evaluations, design and monitor performance improvement plans, and coordinate training and development programs.
- Compensation & Benefits: Administer payroll, employee benefits, and compensation practices, ensuring fairness and compliance with company policies.
- Policy & Compliance: Implement HR policies, ensure legal compliance with labor laws, and maintain up-to-date HR documentation.
- HR Administration: Manage employee records, HRIS systems, offer letters, contracts, and other HR-related documentation.
- Data & Analytics: Track HR metrics, generate reports, and provide insights for decision-making.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required)
- Master's degree in Human Resources or MBA with HR specialization (good to have)
Experience:
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or in a similar HR role
- US project/client-facing experience (good to have)
Language Requirement:
- Excellent spoken and written English is mandatory (for employee communication and client/vendor interaction)
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in HR software/HRIS (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, SAP SuccessFactors)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with payroll systems and benefits administration tools
Certifications (Preferred, not mandatory):
- SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP (Society for Human Resource Management)
- PHR / SPHR (Professional in Human Resources)
- CIPD Certification (for global HR professionals)
Soft Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
