Job Details:

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for managing sales operations within a designated geographic area, ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded. This role involves developing strategic sales plans, building and maintaining relationships with key clients, and managing a team of sales representatives. The RSM will also be responsible for analyzing market trends, identifying new business opportunities, and providing feedback to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the company's customer base.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Create regional sales plans and quotas in alignment with business objectives.
  • Team Management:
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales representatives.
  • Set individual sales targets with the sales team.
  • Monitor the performance of the sales team and motivate them to achieve their targets.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Handle customer complaints and provide solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular client visits to ensure continued business and explore new opportunities.
  • Sales Operations:
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and other performance data to senior management.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage sales budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Market Analysis:
  • Conduct market research to understand competitive landscape and market dynamics.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve sales and profitability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager, or similar senior sales role in the IT industry.
  • Strong understanding of the IT market and industry trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a sales team.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required.
