Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Junior Data Engineer
to join our data team in Singapore. In this role, you will assist in building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and supporting analytics and business intelligence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from various sources
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability for analytics and reporting
  • Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business teams to meet data requirements
  • Support the integration of new data sources and technologies into the data ecosystem
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues and implement improvements
  • Document data processes, data flows, and data quality standards
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
  • 0–2 years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or a similar technical role
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Java
  • Familiarity with ETL processes, data warehousing, and database management
  • Understanding of data modeling, data pipelines, and cloud-based data platforms is a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Knowledge of the Singapore and SEA tech/data market is preferred
