Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development (BD) to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating and nurturing leads and pass them on to the sales team to convert them as clients. Given our current scenario, you will work with a limited marketing budget and must rely heavily on direct outreach, strategic relationship-building, and leveraging low-cost tools to generate leads.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation, Prospecting and pitching.Research and identify potential clients and business opportunities across key markets.Generate leads through direct outreach, networking, and attending industry events (both virtual and physical).Leverage cost-effective tools such as LinkedIn, email marketing, and CRM software to generate and track leads.Collaborate with the marketing team to maximize inbound leads and execute low-cost digital marketing strategies.Make business pitches and send it to potential clients and set-up calls or meetings for sales teams.
Pipeline Management:Maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline, tracking all interactions and ensuring timely follow-ups.Use CRM software to document lead progress, client interactions, and performance metrics.Ensuring there is study stream of incoming business opportunities based on targets and bandwidth of operations team.
Collaboration & Reporting:Collaborate closely with the marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless client experiences.Provide regular reports on progress, performance metrics, and sales forecasts to the leadership team.Key Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.Experience: 3 years of experience in business development, preferably in a B2B environment in the service industryProven Track Record: Demonstrated success in lead generation, client acquisition, and revenue growth.Skills:Strong communication and negotiation skills.Ability to generate leads through direct outreach, networking, and digital tools.Experience with CRM software and pipeline management.Self-motivated and results-driven with a proactive approach to problem-solvingStrong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a consulting or service-based environment.Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, or similar lead-generation tools.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with limited resources and budget.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Number of leads generated per month.Number of client meetings set and attended.Deals closed and revenue generated.Sales pipeline accuracy and follow-up effectiveness.Contribution to overall company growth targets.
