Role Overview:

The International Business Development Manager will spearhead Soleos Solar Energy's expansion in the Spanish market, focusing on promoting and implementing solar rooftop C&I solutions, solar PPAs (Power Purchase Agreements), and energy storage projects. This role demands a proactive approach in fostering relationships with corporate, government, and commercial and industrial (C&I) clients, aiming to secure and grow the company's presence and market share in Spain.


Key Responsibilities:

·      Develop and execute business strategies tailored for the Spanish market to drive growth in solar rooftop and energy storage sectors.

·      Identify, evaluate, and seize new business opportunities by negotiating and closing business deals with key stakeholders.

·      Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients and establish relationships with new clients.

·      Provide regular Management Information System (MIS) reports on market trends, sales forecasts, and business performance.

·      Collaborate with international and local teams to ensure the alignment of business strategies with company objectives.

·      Manage contractual and regulatory compliance for business operations within Spain.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

·      Achievement of sales and revenue targets specific to the Spanish market.

·      Number of new client accounts secured and managed.

·      Client satisfaction and retention rates.

·      Efficiency in business deal closures and turnaround time for MIS reporting.


Qualifications and Skills Required:

·      Proven experience in international business development, preferably in the solar energy sector.

·      Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

·      Ability to travel to Spain and within as required for client meetings and strategic partnerships.

·      Knowledge of the Spanish solar market regulations and commercial frameworks.

·      Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
