We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead Sayaji Hotel, Vadodara. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall operations, financial performance, and guest satisfaction of the property. This role requires a proactive leader with a deep understanding of hospitality operations, team management, and regional market dynamics.
Prior experience in the Gujarat market is preferred

Responsibilities:

1. Operational Leadership

·      Oversee all departments including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, sales, and maintenance.

·      Ensure efficient and effective daily operations aligned with company standards and brand guidelines.

·      Monitor hotel performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

2. Guest Experience Management

·      Maintain a strong focus on guest satisfaction and service excellence.

·      Handle guest complaints and feedback proactively to ensure a positive reputation.

·      Uphold service quality standards across all departments.

3. Sales and Marketing

·      Develop and execute local sales strategies to drive occupancy, revenue, and brand visibility.

·      Collaborate with the corporate team on promotional campaigns and partnership opportunities.

·      Identify new business opportunities including events, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions), and local partnerships.

4. Financial Oversight

·      Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting in line with organizational goals.

·      Monitor expenses and implement cost-control measures where appropriate.

·      Drive profitability through effective resource allocation and operational efficiency.

5. Team Management

·      Lead, mentor, and support departmental heads and hotel staff to achieve performance objectives.

·      Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

·      Conduct training programs to enhance team skills and service quality.

6. Compliance and Standards

·      Ensure adherence to health, safety, and legal regulations.

·      Maintain compliance with brand standards and company policies.

·      Oversee audits and risk management initiatives.

Requirements:

·      Proven experience in hotel management, preferably in a leadership role within a 4- or 5-star property.

·      Strong understanding of hotel operations, sales, marketing, and financial management.
