Job Overview:

The Engineer will work on monitoring and analysing performance and handle daily operations of wind farms in the OCC (Operational Control Centre). He/she will provide support to the Operations and Performance teams by acting as the first-level check for any performance or breakdown-related notifications raised by the solution/CMS* software installed in the OCC.


This role requires you to be an expert in the domain, have good hands-on experience working on software and have analytical skills.


*CMS is a Control Monitoring System


Responsibilities and Duties:

· Work on CMS software solutions (on which training will be provided).

· Troubleshoot the first level of issues raised and identify the solution.

· Escalate the issues to determine and arrive at resolutions if any.

· Manage and respond to any of the user’s new change requests in the CMS software dashboards.

· Use the system to the fullest by generating reports and performing first-level analysis which will be shared with all the internal users and management teams for their perusal.


Qualifications:

· Domain knowledge of the renewable industry (mainly on Wind) of 1 to 5 years

· Ready to work in shifts and 6 days a week

· Good analytical skills

· Excellent creative & technical problem-solving skills

· Time management

· Good Communication skills as he/she will be the point of contact for product management

· Able to work in a team

· Education qualification – B. Tech
