Assistant Manager – Finance is responsible for supporting the Finance Manager in managing the hotel's financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, cost control, revenue management, and statutory compliance. The role ensures accuracy in financial reporting and adherence to company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Assist in consolidating financial reports for management review.

2. Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for the property.
  • Monitor actual performance against budgets and highlight variances.

3. Cost Control & Expense Management

  • Implement cost control measures across departments (F&B, Housekeeping, Engineering, etc.).
  • Review purchase requisitions and vendor invoices to ensure cost efficiency.

4. Revenue & Cash Flow Management

  • Monitor revenue streams and ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with accounting principles.
  • Manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, and fund transfers.

5. Statutory Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, etc.).
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.

6. Payroll & Employee Benefits

  • Oversee payroll processing in coordination with HR.
  • Ensure accuracy in employee benefits and statutory deductions.

7. Internal Controls & SOP Compliance

  • Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, and financial guidelines.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial management.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (IDS, SAP, Tally, Oracle, or similar hotel accounting systems).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and team management abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹45, ₹50,000.00 per month
