Ajanta Shoes, a 69-year-old footwear giant, is trusted widely in the industry with a network of around 1000 dealers and sub-dealers across India, and 20,000 retailers nationwide. Their sister concern, Ajanta Footcare, began in 2003 and now boasts 120 company-owned showrooms in Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Northeast, and Odisha. The company has expanded to several other regions, including UP, UK, MP, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Punjab, and Haryana. Committed to sustainable development, Ajanta Shoes inaugurated a 645 Kilo Watt Rooftop Solar Power Plant at their Jangalpur manufacturing unit in 2022.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Store Manager located in Lucknow. The Store Manager will oversee the daily operations of the store, ensure customer satisfaction, manage staff, handle customer service, and prevent retail loss. The Store Manager will also be responsible for maintaining inventory, coordinating with the central office, and ensuring the store meets its sales targets.
Qualifications
- Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service skills
- Excellent Communication skills
- Store Management skills
- Retail Loss Prevention knowledge
- Proven leadership abilities and team management skills
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
- Previous experience in retail management is highly desirable
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred
