Assistant Manager – Sales

Location: Delhi, India.
Experience Required: Minimum 12 years in the rotary equipment industry.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE Mechanical).
- 12 years of sales & service experience in the field of Mechanical Seals or Rotary Equipment.
Job Responsibilities: The Assistant Manager - Sales & Service shall be responsible for serving customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations/applications of mechanical seals. The selected candidate will be required to travel to customers located across the northern part of India ( Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Delhi, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, J&K and Chandigarh) .
Job Duties:
- Identify current and future customer requirements for mechanical seals by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers with Key Accounts such as EIL, IOCL, GAIL, NTPC, NPC, etc.
- Provide product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by promptly responding to questions and requests from OEMs such as KSB, Sulzer, Flowserve, KBL, KEPL, RP, etc.
- Establish new accounts and service existing accounts by identifying potential customers and organizing sales call schedules.
- Determine improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environments and proposing changes accordingly.
- Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operational improvements.
- Submit offers by conferring with technical support staff.
- Develop customer confidence by providing technical information and training.
- Prepare sales reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information, engineering trends, and application data.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in professional societies.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Skills & Qualification:
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of mechanical seals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record in sales and customer service in the mechanical seals & rotary equipment industry.
- Ability to travel extensively within Delhi and the northern region of India.
- Problem Solving & Failure Analysis.
- Product Knowledge & Trouble Shooting.
- Presentation Skills
- Communication skills in verbatim and vocal.
