Sales Broker
to lead arbitrage opportunities in the waste management sector.

Role Overview

The
Sales Broker
will act as the intermediary between waste generators, aggregators, and recycling companies. The role involves sourcing various recyclable materials (paper, cardboard, plastics, metals, glass), negotiating competitive purchase prices, and reselling them at profitable margins. The position requires market intelligence, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to develop long-term partnerships across the waste value chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source recyclable waste materials
    (paper, cardboard, PET bottles, HDPE, glass, metals, etc.) from collection partners, industries, and businesses.
  • Build and manage a network of buyers
    (recyclers, processors, manufacturers) to ensure consistent demand for sourced materials.
  • Negotiate purchase and sale contracts
    , ensuring profitability through effective arbitrage.
  • Track market prices
    of key recyclables and identify arbitrage opportunities.
  • Optimize logistics
    in coordination with transporters to reduce cost and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records
    of transactions, volumes, and pricing for reporting and compliance.
  • Develop long-term partnerships
    with clients to establish OneStepGreener as a trusted broker in the recycling ecosystem.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Prior experience in
    sales, procurement, commodity trading, or brokerage
    (waste management/recycling sector preferred).
  • Strong
    negotiation and relationship-building
    skills.
  • Ability to
    analyze market trends and pricing dynamics
    .
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on
    results and profitability
    .
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi; additional regional languages are a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in
    Business, Supply Chain, Environmental Studies, or related fields
    preferred, but not mandatory if experience is strong.

  • Profit margins achieved on arbitrage deals.
