Key Responsibilities
  • Develop email marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Segment email lists based on demographics, behavior, and preferences.
  • Set clear objectives for each campaign (e.g., increase open rates, drive traffic to the website, generate leads).
  • Write and design engaging email content, including newsletters, promotional offers, and announcements.
  • Ensure content aligns with brand voice and style guidelines.
  • Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and other team members to produce high-quality email assets.
  • Use email marketing software (e.g., MailChimp, HubSpot, Constant Contact) to create and send campaigns.
  • Implement A/B testing to optimize email elements (subject lines, CTAs, images).
  • Schedule email sends to maximize engagement based on audience insights.
  • Track and analyze key metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates).
  • Generate detailed reports on campaign performance.
  • Use data insights to refine future email marketing strategies.
  • Manage and grow email subscriber lists.
  • Ensure compliance with email marketing laws and best practices (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
  • Implement list hygiene practices to maintain high deliverability rates.
  • Set up automated email sequences for different customer journeys (welcome series, cart abandonment, re-engagement).
  • Use personalization techniques to tailor emails to individual recipients.


Essential Skills
  • Experience with email marketing platforms and CRM tools.
  • Understanding of HTML/CSS for email template customization.
  • Familiarity with email deliverability and inbox placement best practices.
  • Ability to interpret data and metrics to improve campaign performance.
  • Proficient in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, email platform analytics).
  • Strong writing and editing skills for crafting compelling email copy.
  • Basic design skills or ability to work effectively with design teams.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all email communications.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to present campaign results and insights to stakeholders.
