We are seeking the right candidate for our European client located in Shirwal.
Job Description
Position : Jr. Engineer / Engineer / Sr. Engineer – Production
Location : Shirwal (Near Pune)
Department : Production
Role Summary
The role involves CNC machine setup, programming, and shop floor supervision to ensure smooth production operations.
Qualifications
Education : Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE).
Experience : 10–12 years or more.
Preferred Industry : Manufacturing or Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Programming & Setup :
Perform programming and setup for CNC Lathe, VMC, and HMC machines across various controllers (Fanuc, Siemens, Mazak, Hass, DMG Celios, Fagor).
Shop Floor Supervision :
Solve shop floor issues and supervise shift utilization.
Monitor and optimize setup times to improve productivity.
Ensure accurate and timely data entry for maintenance and production activities (Mapex, Axapta systems).
Training & Documentation :
Train operators on CNC machine operations and data entry systems.
Maintain and update ISO documentation.
Maintenance :
Monitor and execute predictive and routine maintenance schedules for CNC machines.
Maintain records of tool life history and ensure all equipment is in working condition.
Key Skills & Competencies
Advanced knowledge of CNC programming and controllers (Fanuc, Siemens, Mazak, etc.).
Proficiency in operating CNC Lathe, VMC, and HMC machines.
Expertise in industrial processes, quality instruments, and measurements.
Problem-solving skills for CNC-related issues.
Familiarity with daily maintenance activities and ISO documentation.
Role-Specific Authorities
Ensure proper CNC machine settings for production as per schedules.
Maintain and monitor utility tools and equipment.
Enforce predictive maintenance schedules.
