Buyer/inventory Control Support

**PRIMARY DUTIES**:
Procurements for Indirect Goods, Packaging Material & Import Finish Goods:
- Ensure competent quality executions of all the regular purchasing duties and administrative works as per company policy. Monitor the stock position of MRO items (Maintenance, Repairing &Operation) & maintain the minimum reorder level as per company policy. Raising Inquiries into the market & preparation of Techno-commercial comparatives against the Purchase requisitions. Preparation of Purchase Order as per agreed terms in ERP / Manual. Co-ordination with Vendors for timely deliveries, material quality issues & supplier claim if any (c Form, Returnable goods & Outstanding payments etc) On time submission of RNI (Received not Invoiced). Follow up of Vendor Payments & Ensuring Compliance to Payment Process Statutory. Lead the cost saving initiative for reducing operations conversion cost. Develop risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply in emergency scenarios. Ensure supplier compliance with site and company policy & requirements for safety. Implement the right procurement processes to ensure on time deliveries of RM as per the MRP Prepare MIS report of Purchase activities.

Audit:
- Lead / Assist Internal / External Statutory Audits in compliance with HBF Legal Norms as well as local statutory codes as applicable.

P&L responsibility

The individual is direct responsible for all costs in the Pune plant that are linked with the Purchase department. Inventory of raw materials and imported finished goods. Shipping and Inward costs. Import costs and duties.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- BE/Diploma in Engineering with 5 to 6 years’ experience in engineering & production consumables material procurements & also must have experience working with petrochemical industries, self-motivated, can function with little/no daily direction setting from manager.
- Demonstrated strong desire and innate capability to learn.
- Skills: Problem solving capabilities, strong communication, interpersonal, organizational skills, excellent written and verbal skills in English, other languages desired (e.g., Marathi & Hindi).
