We're a leading recruitment companyin Sri Lanka and looking for an Assistant Production Manager for anMNC in manufacturing food and beverages products. The AssistantProduction Manager will play a crucial role in supporting theProduction Manager in overseeing daily operations ensuringefficient production processes and maintaining high standards ofquality and safety. This role is perfect for a proactive individualwith strong organizational skills and a passion for the foodmanufacturing industry.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Production Oversight: Assistin planning coordinating and supervising the daily productionactivities to meet production schedules and targets.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitorand ensure adherence to quality control standards and food safetyregulations throughout the production process.
  • Team Supervision: Provideleadership and guidance to production staff fostering acollaborative and productive work environment.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhanceefficiency reduce waste and optimize resourceutilization.
  • InventoryManagement: Assist in managing raw materials andinventory levels to ensure smooth production flow and minimaldisruptions.
  • EquipmentMaintenance: Coordinate routine maintenance andtroubleshooting of production equipment to minimize downtime andensure operational efficiency.
  • Safety Compliance: Promoteand enforce safety protocols and practices to maintain a safeworking environment for all employees.
  • Reporting: Prepare andmaintain accurate production records reports and documentation asrequired by management.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science Industrial EngineeringBusiness Management or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3years of experience in a production or manufacturing environmentwith a focus on the food industry.
  • Skills:
  • Strong organizational and time managementskills.
  • Excellent communication and leadershipabilities.
  • Proficiency in productionmanagement software and tools.
  • Familiaritywith food safety standards and regulations
