Requirements / Responsibilities

  • Basic knowledge of router configuration, firewall configuration, switch configuration, booting, installation, patch upgrade, understanding of cabling (data and power).
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve (Network, VPN) issues and provide troubleshooting to resolve issues raised by clients in ticketing tools.
  • Knowledge on OSI Network Model, IP Addresses, Mac Addresses and networking commands.
  • Diagnose all Level 1 issues from the customers and drive satisfactory resolution of the issues.
  • Monitor ensure network services and internet uptime by using Speed Test, Ping, Tracert.
  • Design and deploy LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including servers, routers, hubs, switches, and other Networking hardware as a Network data engineer.
  • Knowledge of Hardware replacement and Fortigate Firewall.
  • Identify network vulnerabilities by testing Network infrastructure security and troubleshooting.
  • Configuring and Maintenance of Routers, Switches, Firewalls and Network Protocols.
  • Identify website vulnerabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of network devices and tools.
