Critical Tasks

KRA's and Key Activities

  1. To help category managers in costing of materials to be procured based on Clean sheeting/ Should be cost/ Index linked costing/ TCO/ benchmarking etc
  2. (a) To publish monthly Commodity News Letter for tracking the trends of commodities along with manufacturing sector environment (b) To help plants in reduction of proprietary procurement by 10%,(c) To prepare annual budget document and analyze/ track savings.
  3. Promptly providing cost estimation of materials to be procured within agreed time frame.
  4. Drafting, formulating, and implementing SOPs for category managers to enhance process efficiency
  5. To help category manager in exploring alternate vendors from new geographies
  6. Developing matrix for evaluating financial & commercial capability of vendors
  7. To develop colleagues in analytics
  8. To support Head Commercial Strategy in reviewing the performance of Joint Venture Companies
