Primary Function:

Territory managers are key point of contact between FMC and customers both channel and end users. They are the face of company answering queries, introducing new products and services to customers get orders, follow up and collect the dues. Create demand of the product in their territory with aim of maximizing profitThe job involves the following:Responsible to develop & execute territory’s sales target and liquidation target for all the key crop and with our product portfolio for the year month by month and quarter by quarterExecuting product wise targets based on Strategic GoalsMeeting the customers regularly on sales visit and field activityDemonstrating and presenting our product portfolio and services to the channel and end usersDevise and implement product strategies for filling the identified market gaps to drive consistent salesDeveloping new customers and strengthening existing customer base for both channel and end usersForecasting Sales for product SKU wise and liquidation, achieve accuracy and maintain correct records by updating in the dashboard/portal which are availableParticipating in local trade exhibitions also working with the local KVK’s for branding our portfolio etcDevelop understanding of competitive landscape and reporting competitor activity and our action on regular basisContinuously evaluating the existing channel partners and extending support to them.Focus on strengthening the market by identifying new retailers as per the process.Effective utilization of resources by prioritizing market unitsEstimate and give the requirement of territory wise MC & Sample requirement for the year needed to sell and liquidate his annual targetCoaching and Training of extended team to deliver sales targetEffective usage of social media and other digital platforms to create awareness in the territoryIdentifying and developing new market segments for portfolio promotion and sales with new business opportunities in the territoryMonitor the competition in the Territory with respect to their products, customer centric activities and buying trends.Key Skills Required:Self-motivated and driven by sales targetsResilienceStrong communication skills – including both verbal and writtenAbility to influence and negotiate with othersTeam Management skillsCommercial awarenessIT SkillsEducation Qualification:BSc Agriculture /MSc Agriculture/ BSc (chemistry preferably)/ MScProficiency in local language mandatory and English Language preferredMasters in Agribusiness or Marketing Management from a reputed institute Preferred.
