Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented
Finance Manager – Controllership
to oversee critical financial processes including budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, financial statement preparation, audit coordination, and reporting. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in financial operations, while supporting business decision-making through robust financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Budgeting & Forecasting

Preparation of annual budgeting process and periodic re-forecasting in collaboration with functional teams.

Analyze budget variances and recommend corrective actions.

Month-End Close

Ensure timely and accurate monthly closing of accounts.

Review journal entries, accruals, and general ledger reconciliations.

Review and approve invoices.

Prepare and review Balance sheet schedules.

Financial Statements & Reporting

Prepare quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IND-AS, IFRS, GAAP).

Generate and present monthly MIS reports, dashboards, and variance analysis to senior management.

Audit Coordination

Act as the key point of contact for internal and external auditors.

Ensure timely completion of statutory, internal, and tax audits.

Address audit queries and implement audit recommendations.

Compliance & Controls

Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.

Support in process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency.

Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, tax, and treasury.

Support management with ad hoc financial analysis and strategic projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification (CPA, CMA, MBA Finance)

4–6 years of experience in finance controllership roles, preferably in a mid to large-sized organization.

Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and compliance.

Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. Oracle) and advanced Excel.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in audit coordination and working with Big 4 auditors.

Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Exposure to financial planning tools and reporting automation.
