Job Summary:

Associate Director Category Management at Ola Mobility is a key role responsible for optimizing the revenue generation and profitability of the (category) categories within the organization. This role entails strategic planning, data analysis, pricing strategies, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive growth and maximize revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing the category P&L, driving growth and management of the category
  • Develop and execute category-specific strategies to drive scale and market share.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for expansion
  • Collaborate with product and growth teams to implement pricing strategies that maximize revenue while ensuring competitiveness.
  • Data driven decision making, track category performance (KPIs) and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Work closely with marketing, operations, finance, and product teams to align goals and achieve them
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales team to develop category-specific sales and promotional campaigns.
  • Develop revenue forecasts and budgets for category segments. Monitor actual performance against forecasts and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Manage and lead a high-performing team of category and revenue management professionals.


Requirements:

  • MBA in marketing / general management preferably from Tier 1 or Tier 2 colleges.
  • 7+ Proven experience in category management, revenue management, or related roles, with a strong track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
  • Effective leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of the mobility industry and trends is a plus
