Manages the design, implementation, and ongoing management ofmainly Cisco environments, including LAN, WAN, and Wireless Environments.Coordinates with networking vendors to ensure appropriate platformintegration and performance. Makes recommendations to senior managementon new technologies and products for enhancement of the network.Leads and participates in the installation of Network systems andequipment for new facilities and expansions. Tests, debugs, and analysesperformance, and documents infrastructure components.Develop network infrastructure installation procedures to ensuresuccessful integration of systems hardware/software. Develops andrecommends technical strategies and solutions to maintain and/or expandservice levels.Monitors and analyses network and provides results on a regular basis.Takes corrective action to improve data network.Responds to emergency situations and can perform effectivelytroubleshooting during production outages.Assist in guiding, training, instructing, and assisting others at peer orlower levels on technical issues and products.Other duties as assigned.Relevant Experience 8 + yearsResponsibilitiesDesign, plan, establish, and optimize wireless networks.Design and implement WLANs and other wireless networks.Develop wireless network infrastructures and make recommendationson systems enhancements for optimization.Be the lead for any wireless-related activities.Provide technical assessment of requirements and definitions fromconception to launch.Train and mentor other engineers.Design and validate RF link performance, quality, and reliability.Use measuring and diagnostic tools to test and adjust equipment.Create manuals and support documentation.Optimize existing network by adjusting radio network parameters,adding/deleting of neighbor’s and recommending possible solutions tohardware problems.Monitor and analyze statistical and drive test data to improve systemperformance indicators.Responsible for capacity planningProficient in at least 2 of the following technologies:o Ciscoo Merakio ArubaAny wireless-related certifications would be a great plus.o Ciscoo CWNPo Merakio Aruba.This role involves client interaction.The scope of products/vendors is covered below too.Cisco (Routing & SDWAN, ACI / Catalyst & Nexus Switching /Firewalls/F5 LoadBalancersSecondary Skills

: Experienced in one of the following.Palo Alto/FortiGate/ASA/Firepower Firewall/Cisco ACIAccountabilities:Act on Incidents reported by our network management tools.Act on Incidents reported by the customer (via our service desk)Proactively test & upgrade software on various devicesAnalyse capacity management reports & propose improvements.Prepare and execute Change requests.Remotely Configure new devicesInteract with multiple teams (Helpdesk, Customer, Service delivery Managers)Make technical advisory/designs for customer network migrations.Make technical advisory to improve customer security environment.Communicate & raise incidents to 3the party (vendors/telecom providers)Create and update documentation sets.Propose improvement plans (technical & human activity)Proactively seek guidance from peers and seniors where required.Team presentations on your activitiesPropose improvements for our network management tools /Configuration.Analyse reporting before used by Service Delivery ManagerUnderstand vendor product/solution evolutions.Core SkillsMinimum 8 years relevant experience in Wireless (Cisco, Meraki, andor Aruba) as well as any of the Firewall experience mentioned inSecondary SkillsHands-on experience working in an ITIL-structured organizationdealing with Incident / Change / Problem management.Expert with implementing and supporting routing protocols.Experience with Wireshark or other protocol analyzers.Configuring network & security devices with end-to-end security in mind.Configuring end to end Quality of ServiceTroubleshoot using traffic analysers, NetFlow collector, capacity management tools.Understand to interpret wireless (WIFI) site survey reports.Execute / tune wireless (WIFI) radio management.Incident Report Document writing.Documentation (MS Word) & drawing (MS Visio) updatesParticipating in Team & Customer meetings.Soft Skills▪ Driven and Customer focused.▪ Ability to work well under pressure.▪ Proactive Attitude▪ Problem Solving▪ Excellent Communication – Verbal & Written▪ Independent and resourceful with minimal supervision▪ Team player▪ Take initiativeCertification/TrainingMaster’s or graduate degree holderExcellent knowledge and experience with the Wireless technologiesPreferred Certifications below (Certifications as an added advantage)CCIE/CWNA/CCNP Wireless/Aruba Wireless/Meraki Wireless is preferred.Cisco CCNP/CCIE R&S / SecurityPalo Alto (PCNSA/PCNSE)NS5/NSE6Meraki Certified Meraki Network OperatorAwareness ITIL® V3 frameworkEnglish speaking & writing skills.
