Team PurposeThe Managed Network & Security Team is responsible for the managementof the Network and security devices in Getronics data centers, connectivitytowards customers and cloud providers and on-premises network &security implementations at our customers.You should possess excellent communication and teamwork skills andhave confidence working on your own initiative. You will be required towork during European business hours from Monday-Friday, Weekly On-callwould be on a rotational basis.Role PurposeWe are looking for an experienced professional who is autonomous,experienced, self-driven Network fanatics.The role is to proactively and reactively manage the Network and Securitydevices, act on alarms from our network management systems, and act onincidents reported by our customers. Troubleshoot & analyze incidents andchanges and make suggestions to fix and implement the solution. Test anddeploy software upgrades or security patches. Work as a full member ofour international team that consists of 50 Engineers globally.As a Cisco ACI Technical Consultant, you will be heavily engaged topersonalize your customer’s experience and ensure a successful CiscoACI migration and support experience. In this role, you will develop aworking partnership to mitigate risks and troubleshoot to resolvetechnical issues for our esteemed customers. You will engage bothproactively and reactively with the customer to address any technicalneeds. Coordinates with networking vendors to ensureappropriate platform integration and performance. Makesrecommendations to senior management on new technologies andproducts for enhancement of the network.Leads and participates in the installation of Network systems andequipment for new facilities and expansions. Tests, debugs, andanalyses performance, and documents infrastructure components.Develop network infrastructure installation procedures to ensuresuccessful integration of systems hardware/software. Developsand recommends technical strategies and solutions to maintainand/or expand service levels.Monitors and analyses network and provides results on a regularbasis. Takes corrective action to improve data network.Responds to emergency situations and can perform effectivelytroubleshooting during production outages.Assist in guiding, training, instructing, and assisting others at peeror lower levels on technical issues and products.Other duties as assigned.This role involves client interaction.The scope of products/vendors covers –Primarily

Cisco (Routing/Switching), F5 Load Balancers (LTM, ASM,APM, GTM)Secondary:One of the following firewalls Palo Alto, FortiGate, Cisco ASA, CiscoFirepowerCisco / Meraki (Wireless), Cisco ACI – Added AdvantageAct on Incidents reported by our network management tools.Act on Incidents reported by the customer (via our service desk)Proactively test & upgrade software on various devicesAnalyse capacity management reports & propose improvements.Prepare and execute Change requests.Remotely Configure new devicesInteract with multiple teams (Helpdesk, Customer, Servicedelivery Mgr.)Make technical advisory/designs for customer networkmigrations.Make technical advisory to improve customer securityenvironment.Communicate & raise incidents to 3the party (vendors/telecomproviders)Create and update documentation sets.Propose improvement plans (technical & human activity)Proactively seek guidance from peers and seniors where required.Team presentations on your activitiesPropose improvements for our network management tools /Configuration.Analyse reporting before used by Service Delivery ManagerUnderstand vendor product/solution evolutionsCore SkillsMinimum 8 years of working relevant experience Mandatory.Masters/Graduate degree holderDesign, Deploy & manage data center network using Cisco ACI.Design, configure, and implement Data center infrastructure in largeenterprise data center.Hands-on experience in Cisco ACI for design, implementation,deployment & migration.Experience with various components of Cisco’s ACI solutions,including APIC (Application Policy Infrastructure Controller), EndPoint Groups (EPG), Tenant, Bridge Domain (BD), VRF (VirtualRouting and Forwarding) and Infrastructure PolicyEffective English speaking & writing skills.Hands-on experience working in an ITIL-structured organizationdealing with Incident / Change / Problem management.Awareness ITIL® V3 frameworkDocumentation (MS Word) & drawing (MS Visio ) updatesParticipating in Team and customer meetings.Effective English speaking & writing skills.Soft Skills▪ Driven and Customer-focused.▪ Ability to work well under pressure.▪ Proactive Attitude▪ Problem Solving▪ Excellent Communication – Verbal & Written▪ Independent and resourceful with minimal supervision▪ Team player▪ Take initiativeCertification/Training▪ Masters/Graduate degree holder▪ CCIE Datacentre, CCNP Datacentre (Preferred)▪ NSE 5 and above/PCNSE/PCNSA, CCNP Security (Desired)
