Role Overview:

We are seeking an exceptional Vice President of Engineering to lead our engineering efforts and drive innovation at CUR8. This role entails responsibilities akin to a Chief Technology Officer (CTO), requiring a visionary leader who can oversee product architecture, engineering, and technology strategies. Only candidates from top-tier institutions such as IIT or BITS will be considered.

The VP of Engineering will play a pivotal role in shaping CUR8's technology roadmap, scaling our Gen-AI-powered platform, and building a high-performing engineering team to meet our ambitious goals.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Technology Leadership:
  • Define and execute the technology strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with CUR8’s business objectives.
  • Lead the development and deployment of CUR8’s Gen-AI-powered product suite, ensuring scalability, reliability, and innovation.
  • Product Architecture:
  • Oversee the architecture and design of robust, scalable, and secure systems.
  • Ensure high-quality engineering practices and efficient software development processes.
  • Team Building & Management:
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a world-class engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Set performance benchmarks and implement a structured approach for skill development and growth within the team.
  • Strategic Planning:
  • Collaborate with product, sales, and marketing teams to align engineering efforts with business priorities.
  • Identify and adopt emerging technologies that can provide a competitive edge.
  • Process Optimization:
  • Implement best practices for software development, quality assurance, DevOps, and release management.
  • Optimize workflows to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Innovation & R&D:
  • Lead research initiatives to integrate the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and automation into CUR8’s product suite.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and ensure CUR8 remains a market leader in revenue tech solutions.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, investors, and external partners to provide updates on technology initiatives.
  • Drive technical due diligence processes during funding rounds or partnerships.


Qualifications:
  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field from IIT, BITS , or equivalent pedigree institutions.
  • Experience:
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in engineering leadership roles, including experience as VP of Engineering, Director of Engineering, or CTO.
  • Proven track record of leading large engineering teams and delivering scalable, enterprise-grade SaaS products.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Deep understanding of cloud platforms, AI/ML technologies, DevOps, and modern software architecture.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks.
  • Experience in implementing and scaling AI/ML models in production environments is a strong plus.
  • Leadership Skills:
  • Exceptional ability to lead, inspire, and motivate engineering teams.
  • Strong decision-making skills, with a focus on strategic execution and operational excellence.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
