Role Description

As the Vice President – Global Business Development , you will lead our sales and client engagement efforts across India, UAE, and the USA , ensuring Kompella Technologies becomes a trusted partner for enterprises in these markets. This is a strategic leadership role that blends market expertise, relationship-building, and operational excellence to drive growth and revenue.


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client engagement in enterprise technology or related industries.
  • Proven success in driving sales and building client relationships in India, UAE, and the USA .
  • Strong understanding of regional market dynamics, business cultures, and industry trends.
  • Exceptional negotiation and consultative selling skills, with a proven track record of closing high-value deals.
  • Ability to create and execute strategic sales plans, translating business goals into actionable outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with C-level executives and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve ambitious targets.
  • Familiarity with enterprise technology solutions, SaaS, or software development services.
  • MBA or equivalent professional experience is a plus.


Key Responsibilities


Strategic Market Development -

  1. Develop and implement a robust business development strategy for India, UAE, and the USA , aligned with the company’s vision and goals.
  2. Identify and penetrate new industry verticals, market opportunities, and business domains in these regions.
  3. Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure alignment between sales initiatives and overall business objectives.


Client Engagement & Acquisition -

  1. Establish and nurture relationships with high-value clients, ensuring long-term partnerships and client satisfaction.
  2. Actively manage the sales cycle from lead generation to closing, focusing on enterprise clients.
  3. Represent Kompella Technologies at client meetings, industry events, and presentations to showcase our capabilities.


Operational Leadership

  1. Drive a high-performing sales pipeline with a focus on lead generation, conversion, and revenue growth.
  2. Partner with pre-sales and technical teams to create tailored proposals that address client needs effectively.
  3. Ensure seamless communication and collaboration between clients and internal teams to deliver superior solutions.


Team Leadership

  1. Build, mentor, and manage a results-driven sales team across focus regions, setting clear KPIs and objectives.
  2. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence within the sales function.
