We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to oversee end-to-end human resources operations for our startup client in D2C space. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance, and organizational development. This person will act as a strategic partner to the leadership team, ensuring we attract, retain, and develop the best talent to fuel our growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full cycle of recruitment, from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's mission and goals.
  • Design and oversee employee engagement initiatives and retention programs.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and HR best practices.
  • Maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook.
  • Manage payroll, compensation, and benefits administration.
  • Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and grievance management.
  • Drive performance management systems, including appraisals and goal-setting.
  • Partner with leadership to identify training and development needs.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • MBA in HR or equivalent specialization preferred.
  • 4–7 years of HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced or startup environment.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and HR practices in India.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, payroll, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership and teams.
