
Human Resource Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to oversee end-to-end human resources operations for our startup client in D2C space. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance, and organizational development. This person will act as a strategic partner to the leadership team, ensuring we attract, retain, and develop the best talent to fuel our growth.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the full cycle of recruitment, from sourcing to onboarding.
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's mission and goals.
- Design and oversee employee engagement initiatives and retention programs.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and HR best practices.
- Maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook.
- Manage payroll, compensation, and benefits administration.
- Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and grievance management.
- Drive performance management systems, including appraisals and goal-setting.
- Partner with leadership to identify training and development needs.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- MBA in HR or equivalent specialization preferred.
- 4–7 years of HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced or startup environment.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and HR practices in India.
- Proven experience in recruitment, payroll, and performance management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership and teams.
