KeyResponsibilities:

Managingkey components of the project scope schedule and budget. Thisincludes but is not limited to managing variances overseeingstaffing plans and implementing
alternatives to mitigateproject risk related to scope schedule and budget

Managing risks issues communications actionsand project interdependencies for assigned key components of theproject scope. Managing project team membersin a matrixed environment so that the team members tasks aredelivered with a high degree of quality and contribute the expectedvalue to the project. Facilitating detailedtask planning with technical resources that includes managingresources in a matrix management organization and collaboratingwith management on resource allocations based on projectpriorities. Proactively identifying andassessing project risks and mitigation strategies along withmanaging associated mitigation plans with the project stakeholdercommunity. Identifying and persistentlypursuing issue resolution with team project members and the projectstakeholder community. Facilitating projectmeetings to clarify business needs and promote decision making.This includes but is not limited to preparing agendas in advance ofmeetings and preparing meeting minutes and action items. Collaborating with project team members and projectstakeholders to ensure project objectives are understood and thatroles and responsibilities are well defined. Overseeing and coordinating vendors that support rulesextraction and use case documentation including scope adherencemethodology adherence resource management deliverable reviewdeliverable approval and progress reporting. Other duties as assigned.

MandatoryQualifications:

Level III More than seven (7) years of experience workingon complex projects with 2 or more years in a leadership role as aProject Manager Minimum seven (7) years ofexperience working on implementing a Health and Human Serviceseligibility system within one of the domains of Public AssistanceSNAP HEAP or Child Support Minimum seven (7)years of experience managing government projects

DesirableQualifications:

  • Minimum of one (1) project as project manager responsiblefor managing a budget greater than $20 million with matrixmanaged/vendor sourced deliverables
  • Minimum ofone (1) completed project as a project manager which is federallyfunded requiring project management activities to conform tofederal requirements prior to project implementation (e.g. testingdeployment pilot and other federal program specificrequirements).
  • Minimum of three (3) projectsas the project manager accountable for endtoend softwaredevelopment lifecycle management in which each project had definedphases for initiation requirements development testing deploymentand operational support.
  • Minimum ten (10) ormore years of experience implementing projects utilizing industrystandard system development life cycle methodologies
  • Bachelors or Masters degree with coursework inInformation Technology Business or Public Administration ProjectManagement and/or Communications
  • Current PMPor PgMP certification from the Project ManagementInstitute
