Applications are invited for the post of Admissions Coordinator for Northumbria University to be located at India Liaison Office.


Based in Gurugram, as a member of the Indian Liaison Office, the role holder will be required to assist with supporting recruitment and conversion activities.

Designation – Admissions Coordinator

Work Experience -Minimum 3 to 5 years of Industry Experience Compensation -Best in the Industry with Perks.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Coordinate the processing of all student applications from submission to outcome, to ensure that applications are treated in a timely manner and within the standards set by the University
  • To offer high quality customer service to all applicants, at all stages of the application process
  • Manage student data, to secure compliance with the Data Protection Act
  • Gather applicants’ references and supporting documents
  • Liaise with other members of the team and academics, to ensure prompt and complete
  • academic consideration of each applicant


Other responsibilities:


  • Support the overall delivery of international recruitment goals for South Asia in a flexible and proactive manner
  • Conduct credibility interview for prospective students; verification of academic and financial documents
  • Provide specialist co-ordination support specifically to all academic Faculties, and represent their interests in-market
  • Support conversion activity and campaigns, in particular by personally following up and tracking leads from recruitment events, contributing to the overall delivery of an excellent customer experience for international applicants;
  • Contribute to social media and digital campaigns to enhance and support recruitment activities;
  • Maintain database and regular follow ups with current/future applicants
  • Develop presentations, market-specific recruitment materials, and marketing collateral as required
  • Respond positively to feedback by proactively reviewing processes, procedures and practices to ensure that the needs and expectations of relevant stakeholders are met
  • Contribute to the development of a collaborative, collegiate and inclusive culture, by sharing information and good practice with others;
  • Work co-operatively and maintain effective relationships with others internally and externally to the University as appropriate to own area of responsibility
  • Develop and maintain a specialist knowledge of own area of responsibility
  • Demonstrate a flexible attitude to change to support the University to meet existing and future needs
  • Undertake other responsibilities as and when required
  • Any other duties as directed, commensurate with the scope and classification of the position
