Qualifications:2-3 Years Industry Experience in Product / Equipment Sales to Process and Utility industries,Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering a related field is preferred,Experience in conducting On-Site Technical Demonstrations,Experience in CAPEX Product Sales Activities preferred,Predictive maintenance, reliability, Energy Management and maintenance practices preferred,Travelling is essential,

Job Description:A Technical Sales Engineer / Manager combines technical expertise with sales skills to sell integrated technical products or services. They serve as the key point of contact for clients, answering their queries, providing technical advice, and ensuring that the product meets the customer’s needs. Their role typically includes the following responsibilities:1. Sales and Business DevelopmentLead Generation & Prospecting: Identifying and cultivating potential customers (leads) who are target customers for the company’s products and services,Client Engagement: Identify and engage potential customers, understanding their needs, and explaining how the company’s products or services can meet those needs.Sales Support: Assist the sales team in the technical aspects of the sales process, providing the necessary technical information to close deals.Proposal Development: Prepare and present technical proposals and quotations, ensuring that all customer requirements are addressed.2. Technical Expertise and Solution DevelopmentProduct Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of the technical specifications and functionalities of the products or services being sold.Technical Consultation: Offer technical consultation to customers, helping them understand how the product can solve their specific problems or improve their operations.Customization: Work with customers to customize products or solutions to meet their specific needs, often in collaboration with the engineering or product development teams.3. Technical Presentations and DemonstrationsProduct Demonstrations: Conduct technical presentations and live demonstrations of the product to potential clients, showcasing its features and benefits.Customer Training: Provide training to customers on how to use the product effectively, ensuring they can fully leverage its capabilities.4. Customer Support and Relationship ManagementPost-Sales Support: Provide ongoing technical support to customers after the sale, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products or services.5. Market and Product AnalysisFeedback Loop: Relay customer feedback and market insights to the product development team to inform future product improvements.Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about competitor products and industry trends, helping to position the company’s offerings effectively in the market.Product Feedback: Gather and analyze feedback from customers to identify areas where the product could be improved or where new features might be needed.6. Documentation and ReportingTechnical Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation related to product specifications, customer requirements, and custom solutions.Reporting: Prepare reports on technical sales activities, customer feedback, and sales performance for review by management.
